For example, when copper exists in the form of carbonates (such as malachite and azurite), its floatability is relatively excellent. When it exists in the form of silicates (such as chrysocolla), its floatability is inadequate. Free copper oxide minerals are very easy to float, while bound copper oxide can primarily not be recovered by a single flotation approach.
